The book gives a quick and clear explanation of why CCI is growing, and what factors are driving this growth. The chapters examinig how companies can benefit from engaging in CCI, the forms that CCI can take, and the way to communicate the company's message are highly informative. There are some gripes though. The second chapter's attempts to define corporate citizenship and CCI are somewhat simplistic. Also, the book stops a long way short of fulfilling the promise in its subtitle. If you want a quick introduction to the world of CCI, this is it, but if you want to launch a CCI programme, the key to success is detailed planning, and detail is not the strength of this book.
