Verbitzsky's Stratagem

Edward William Thomson’s Verbitzsky's Stratagem tells about the narrator and Verbitzsky, two young students who were deported to Siberia by the secret services of the Tsar, their father, because of ‘nihilism’ that is, in fact, they opposed to terrorism, and they were in favour of the peasants. They try to escape but they are chased, when they are almost trapped in a courtyard without exits, they threaten police to blast two bombs, and thus they are able to escape from Siberia while the deceived policeman remained there.
