THE EDITORS

Anita Atwal is Lecturer in Occupational Therapy for the Department of Health and Social Care at Brunel University, London. She worked extensively with older people prior to pursuing an academic career and sustains a major interest with this client group through her clinical research activities. Anita is also an expert in interprofessional working. Anita has written numerous articles and has published a book, Occupational Therapy and Older People (Wiley-Blackwell, 2005).

Mandy Jones is Lecturer in Physiotherapy for the Department of Health and Social Care at Brunel University, London. She has a Doctoral Degree in Physiology from Imperial College of Medicine, Science and Technology, a Masters in Physiology from University College London and a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy. Her career has included extensive clinical experience in critical care and respiratory medicine, plus physiotherapy education.
