Beowulf

Beowulf is an Old English epic poem about a heroic warrior going into battle against a terrifying monster. It is considered to be one of the most important works in the history of English literature and has influenced almost all fantasy authors of the modern era, including J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. This translation of Beowulf into modern English by John Lesslie Hall gives by both young and old readers a chance to enjoy the classic story.
