A Riddling Tale

There is a spell over the three women in our story. They get transformed into flowers but each of them can return home at night one at a time. The spell can be reversed only if their husbands pluck them while they are still flowers. Now we ask you: how can the husband know which flower is his wife? The riddle has an obvious answer but can you find it out before you read the end of the story?
