In Introduction to Organic Semiconductor Heterojunctions, Yan provides a comprehensive discussion and systematic introduction on the state-of-the-art technologies as well as application of organic semiconductor heterojunctions. Yan begins with an overview of heterostructure in organic thin film devices and then goes to describe the weak epitaxy growth of organic thin films. This followed by the electronic structures of organic heterojunction and charge transport in organic heterojunctions in chapters 3 and 4 respectively. Yan introduces the applications of organic hetrojunctions in thin film devices in chapter 5. The book concludes with organic heterojunction semiconductors. In each chapter, an 'outlook' section is also given, introducing the development direction and trend of related topics.
The Chinese edition of the book was published by China Science Press in April 2008, as part of the Distinguished Yong Scholar Scientific Book Series, which was launched by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The editor-in-chief of the series is Prof. Chun-Li Bai, Deputy President of CAS.
