This report examines learning methodologies in the contex of Polytechnic student projects. A hybrid version of Project-based Learning is proposed. The Project-based Learning process is reviewed based on a case of Helia (Helsinki Business Polytechnic)and a Internationalization project carried out together with a small Finnish software company. The target markets for this collaboration were China and the Baltic States. A detailed analysis is made of the Project process and outcome along with a review of the tools employed during the course. The report is concluded by considering the future direction of this Project-based Learning methodology in Helia. The report may act as a
framework for other educational institutions that are planning to implement international Project-based Learning courses in collaboration with corporations.
