Writing and Reviewing Skills
This monograph examines techniques for writing clear reports, SOPs, patient information sheets in the clinical research environment. It also covers how to use review methods and being critical of what is written. Both are communication skills that are needed when working in clinical research. There is also a section on writing creatively for journals or a book. Martin is employed as a Training Consultant for the ICR, where he offers a range of training courses relating to clinical research. He has a PhD in Biochemistry and over twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. He has experience in writing protocols, patient information leaflets, clinical trial reports, SOPs and has previously co-authored a book on risk management.
